The Mindful Money Awards honour individuals, organisations, and funds that are leading the way in ethical investing across Aotearoa.
We’re thrilled to share that our adviser, Mark Holtom, was awarded Highly Commended in the Best Ethical Financial Adviser category at the 2025 awards. This recognition places Mark among the top ethical advisers in the country and reflects his deep commitment to values-based investing.
The judges praised Mark’s clear and thoughtful approach, noting that “ethical investing is at the heart of your practice.” They highlighted how ethical advice is embedded in the client experience—from the very first question about what matters most to each client, through to regular reviews and feedback surveys.
They also commended the well-structured process for developing ethical portfolios, including the role of Māpua Wealth in providing research. The judges were impressed by Mark’s proactive efforts to explore private capital opportunities for clients.
Mark’s dedication to professional development and sector leadership was also recognised. As an active participant in the NZ Stewardship Code, and an active contributor to RIAA and SiFA, Mark continues to champion ethical investing both within our firm and across the industry.
This marks our fifth consecutive year as a finalist, and our fourth year in a row receiving either a win or runner-up placement—an achievement unmatched by any other advisory firm.
