It was a privilege for our team to contribute to this week’s Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) Conference workshop focusing on helping financial advisers build confidence in discussing ethical investing with their clients.

Our founder, Peter Lee-Grey, was interviewed about the journey of establishing Ethical Investing NZ and how client demand for values-based investing has evolved over the years. What was once a niche conversation is now becoming an increasingly important part of how many investors think about their money.

The session also explored a challenge many advisers face: moving beyond industry jargon and acronyms to have meaningful conversations that connect with what clients actually care about. Mark and Peter led table discussions focused on practical ways advisers can talk about values, impact, and investment outcomes in language that resonates with investors.

We’re proud that advisers continue to look to our team for insights and practical experience in this area, and we’re grateful to RIAA for creating a forum where these important conversations can take place.
